After my friend—fellow Philadelphian Kevin Bowser—was killed in the World Trade Center, I adopted a mission to enhance the world one hug and interaction at a time and to that end, I have bicycled and given charitable service in:

North America ’02 – Washington State to Philadelphia
Africa ‘04 – Cairo to Cape Town
Asia ’07 – Istanbul to Beijing
North America ’08 – San Diego to NYC
North America ’11 – Minneapolis to NYC
Australia ’15 – Sydney to Melbourne

And just last month, I did yet another tour of the nation where I hugged and highfived  people in San Bernardino, OKC, Chicago and other areas struck my gun violence and mayhem like Orlando.
