My grandfather spent forty-two years as a union welder in Philadelphia. My father is currently in his 37th year as a maintenance manager of that union. Spending the first twenty years as a welder and paint/body mechanic. I just completed my third year in the same union as a welder and paint/body mechanic. I’ve been around cars and this industry my whole life. All three generations and have lived and worked in Philadelphia their entire lives.
