I am a printmaker and woodcut is one of my favorite methods. When I was in Philadelphia teaching a screenprint workshop at the University of Art, I visited Matt Price’s woodshop for the first time. Matt and his studio mate gave me several blocks of wood that were left over from their furniture making. I used them all but one for my small woodcut prints. So I brought back the last block to its home with my art on it.
