I was born and raised in Mexico. The only connection I had with Philadelphia before I moved to the U.S. was the cream cheese by this name. I came for the first time to Philly back in 2007 to visit the family of my wife’s aunt and uncle. One of the first places that I visited in Philly was the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Now, I have been back to Philly about four times, and every time I hear the word Philadelphia that image of the cheese got replaced by the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
