Dominique Ellis is a visual artist and researcher. Her work is influenced by her Peace Corps experience in Morocco and Fulbright scholarship in Egypt. During her time in Philadelphia working at The Clay Studio, her test tiles become more than test of color and glaze.  This tile, like many, become the swatch that will become a larger part of a vessel or form.
