We bought these plastic beads and lanyard thread to support some of our students who need to practice fine motor skills, but it has become one of our favorite toys at the Little Green School House. We make bracelets and necklaces for ourselves, our friends, our families, our stuffed animals, and our baby cousins in other states or countries. Often our elaborate plans for who we will give our beads to become more important than the beads themselves. Two friends chose them as their favorite toys at school.

Mia, age 5: “I like the beads at school. I make bracelets and necklaces, but sometimes the beads jump off the string!”
