Philadelphia, City of brotherly love—I came here when I was four. My grandparents’ parting gift was an airplane that I used to play with all the time. I remember my childhood moment at the PHL airport with this airplane. I’ve spent most of my childhood with this airplane. It is important because it has been a symbol of good luck to me. When I was ten years old my grandma died and it was devastating for me. One day, when I was eleven, I carefully inspected it because one of the wing was broken. Amazingly, there was a letter inside the airplane which was from my grandparents. That makes it very dear to me.
