Joseph ‘Bud’ Fenner (1908-1960), my dad owned a gas station at 34th & Baron next to the Philadelphia Zoo. It was the Atlantic Gas Station. He used to give me a piece of paper and a pencil and then send me walking all over town to record gas prices from other stations. I remember when gas was still 25 cents. The picture is my Dad and me, his left hand is a little black, which was caused from always working on cars. He died when I was fourteen years old. I never cried. But I just realize now I can finally do some for him. I am so happy. Thank you for giving me a chance to speak of my dad.
