My piece, titled “Discovering Philadelphia,” has to do with encountering one of America’s greatest cities, by happenstance.

Our oldest daughter fell in love with Penn when applying to colleges, and after being accepted, we all discovered and explored this exciting and historically significant mecca.

We have fond so many wonderful things in Philadelphia, and my small contribution to the “My Philadelphia Story” installation is a handcrafted assemblage of found treasures.
