This cork is about a love story. Their love affair blossomed in Philadelphia. She loved how he would always be waiting at the top of the stairs for her as she came up the escalator at 30th Street Station. He loved seeing that smile that would light up the room whenever she walked towards him. From afternoon’s people watching at Parc, to jazz filled nights at Chris’ Jazz Café, to mini getaways at the Warwick hotel, they fell deeply for each other. The story of this love affair was also in ill-fated one, but they didn’t care; they wanted to savor their connection to the very end. This cork is from the first bottle of wine they had together during an amazing dinner at Osteria. While they are no longer together, they will always have Philadelphia.
