This is a cutout of my first ever project at the University of the Arts. My very first class was object/environment. I walked into my very first college course and there were just four people sitting there. Not exactly what I expected for a college course but I went with it. Our first project we did was to create something using organic abstraction. None of us really grasped the concept so it was a very hard time doing this project. Through the struggle that this class is, I have bonded with this small group of people. These few people made me feel right at home in Philadelphia. Because of them Philadelphia will always be home for me. The items I collected are silhouettes of our final “blobjects.” These were made in the final steps of completing this project. To me it represents the end of a project but the start of lifelong friendships.
