I had two wonderful residencies as Guest Artist at the Clay Studio in 2006 and 2013. From a four-month stay in 2013, I wanted to relocate myself to Philly from Michigan where my job was secure. Reality bites. My dream to move to Philly hasn’t been realized as yet. I have more friends in Philly than any other cities in the U.S. Most friends in Philly are involved in the ceramics community. Whenever I recall my memorable days in that Old City, I become thankful to the Clay Studio and especially to Jeff Guido, former artistic director at TCS. I send my best wishes to all my friends in Philly with a threaded porcelain petals and a small figurine.
