I’m originally from Michigan and, after moving to Philadelphia in 2004, my parents have driven my seven nieces and nephews to see the Liberty Bell over the last twelve years. This happens after they turn ten years old and educates them not only about the Declaration of Independence, but several other historical landmarks.  It’s been a great way to have them visually experience the things they are reading about in textbooks.
