I moved to Philadelphia in 2007 for graduate school, during which time I learned to play the guitar and began writing and sharing my own songs. Through the Philadelphia music community, I’ve met so many genuine and authentic people and have felt nurtured and inspired as a musician. I chose to submit a guitar pick I cut from an old credit card to symbolize the many times a fellow musician has lent me a pick or capo when I’ve come up short on stage.
