I was born outside of Philadelphia and returned to study at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. The PAFA museum and school, designed by Frank Furness, is the inspiration for this porcelain relief tile.  I was privileged to spend most of my time for several years inside this exquisite building. The museum is a perfect harmony of structure, function and decoration.  And it has great art!
