The object I choose to send to you was the first chain I made from a jewelry class I took over the summer in 2014.  At that time I was attending community college with an undecided major and I had no idea what I was going to do with my life. My sister decided to take a summer class for high school-aged students that were interested in the arts, and asked me to do it with her. I reluctantly agreed, since I didn’t have any artistic skills, but a jewelry class caught my eye, and since I was eighteen they accepted me into the program. This class helped me realize what I wanted to do with my life and who I wanted to be.  So, this simple and basic chain will always have a place in my heart as I grow as a person and an artist.
