Original cookie cutter (made in Germany) from H. Weinrich Bakery, 22nd and Jackson Street, South Philadelphia. The original bakery opened in 1915 on Morris Street and moved to this new address in 1922. Famous for a wide variety of baked items and German specialities, the bakery continued until the death of Walter E. Weinrich in 1986.

Four generations of Weinrichs worked at the bakery: Henry Weinrich and his wife, Augusta, their son, Walter Weinrich and his wife Regina McNamee Weinrich, their children Walter, Marie Pat, Jeanie, Helene, Andrea and Michele and my son Walt Weinrich (as a helper at a very young age).
