This is a sliver of wood cut from one of a 40,000 gallon water tank for the sprinkler system of a building near 20th Indiana St. It is redwood from the early 1900’s, which would make it old growth redwood I believe. We had to have it taken down after Hurricane Sandy. It was done by hand, no high lifts or cranes.
